Bro. Pratap & Sis. Pranitha

My name is Pratap and my wife’s name is Pranitha. We live near Boston in the United States. We would like to share our miracle and the blessing of the Lord in our life.

We had a miscarriage and were waiting to get pregnant again. We were worried and waited eagerly for almost a year. Meanwhile we heard from one of our friends, Sam, that Pastor was visiting their home, and he asked us if we would like to come and meet Pastor. We immediately said yes, visited their home and met Pastor. We told Pastor everything, and Pastor prayed for us and assured us that we would hear good news in a few months and would celebrate the next Christmas with our child. We trusted Pastor and prayed to Jesus from that day onwards.

Soon, in the next month, we got pregnant. We were so happy that we thanked both Pastor and the Lord. From that moment onwards we prayed to Jesus and trusted Him a lot. Whenever we were worried about the baby we used to call Pastor and he would pray for us. With the help of God everything went fine and we overcame all our fears about the baby. Pastor assured us that nothing could harm the baby, willingly or unwillingly, because it is the gift of God, and God would give us the best and always protect us.

After 10 months, God blessed us with a healthy baby girl.

Coimbatore & Chennai · 2002–2003

Bro. Samad & Sis. Smitha

In May 2002, I went for a meeting in Coimbatore, and around 1,100 people participated in the meeting. One day at meal time, God showed me a person and told me that he had no child, and asked me to pray for him, and that he would be blessed with a child. I was a little hesitant to talk about this to a stranger.

Bro. Samad was Deputy General Manager of SIDBI, and his wife was also a manager in a bank. They had been married for 7 years and had no child. On 20th May 2002, they came to church, All Nations House of Prayer, Chennai. I spoke to them about many miracles of God, and specifically about the miracles He has performed in the lives of many childless couples by giving them children. I also spoke to them about the promise in Isaiah 66:9.

One among the several names of our God is ‘the Lord who brings forth’. I asked them whether they had ever praised Him by this name, as they worship Him by calling His other names such as good God, mighty God and so on. I assured them that since they are believers, God would certainly grant this blessing, and I prayed for them. That sister felt the power of God going through her body. I also put forth a condition that they should come to our church in Chennai with the child after one and a half years and testify about the goodness of the Lord. They assured us they would come, since they were desperate for a child then. God confirmed His word. On 21st March 2003, she gave birth to a baby boy.

Because of an operation performed on Sis. Smitha, doctors had told her that she could not conceive and that there was no possibility of childbirth. At the same hospital where the earlier tests were made, she gave birth to a boy, and the doctors called him the ‘Miracle boy’ (his name is Immanuel). The things that are impossible are possible with God.

Rourkela, Odisha

Bro. Amanlakra & Sis. Anju

After the miraculous birth of the son of Samad and Smitha, one day when I was about to go out of my house, a couple came to my house in an auto. They came from Rourkela in Orissa. The husband’s name is Amanlakra and the wife’s name is Anju. The husband works in ONGC. He gave me a packet of sweets sent by Bro. Samad.

As we talked, I felt that this couple had also come seeking prayer for a child. Sis. Anju is the sister of Sis. Smitha, who was blessed with a child miraculously. After talking for an hour, they asked me to pray for their need of a child. They had been married three years, and this sister also had some physical complications. The physicians had told her that natural conception was not possible in her case and suggested a test-tube baby, and even then the chance of success was said to be only 3%.

But Sis. Anju told me, “When there was not even a 1% chance in my sister’s case, the Lord miraculously gave her a child. A smaller miracle than that is sufficient in my case to give me a child.” I shared with her the testimonies of several people who had miraculous conceptions, prayed for her and sent her back. God heard the prayers and blessed this couple with a child.
